Studio 21 presented an interactive gallery at the Festival of Quilts (11-14 August 2011) on the theme Continuum: A Sense of Place.
The exhibit comprised two elements: Studio 21 artist’s pieces and an interactive section where visitors add their own marks and sense of place to Continuum.
We were overwhelmed by the reaction we had to the piece and the wonderfully long cloth which grew as the week went on. You might recognise some of the artists or their work – have a look. No two pieces are the same and there are contributions from people from all over the world – and even 5-year old Freya added some lovely stitches.
