First exhibited at Fashion, Embroidery and Stitch at the NEC, Birmingham and then at South Hill Arts Centre, Bracknell, Chinese Whispers centres on the concept of ‘making work in response to a stimulus/challenge and passing it on’.
This highly successful and on-going project has introduced a shared method of working to the group which took the form of monthly workshop sessions. Beginning from a common stimulus and challenge, each piece in this exhibition is a small and experimental ‘bite-size’ work which demonstrates how each individual responded with diverse and personal work.
During the South Hill Park Exhibition we ran a number of workshops.
